Saif My Love.png

Saif Mansour, a loving husband, father, and founder of the private investment firm Breakwater Management, died unexpectedly on October 27, 2021 at the age of 43 from an unknown heart condition. Saif is survived by his parents; his brother, Karim Mansour; his wife, Erika Mansour; his children, Parker James and Sloane Isla Mansour.

Saif was born in Santa Monica, California, on June 11, 1978 to Antoinette Ibrahim and Mahmoud “Mike” Mansour.  He attended Santa Monica High School and graduated at the top of his class in 1996.  He played for the U16 US Soccer Team.  He went on to graduate in 2000 with a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University, where he was also a member of the Division I Men’s Varsity Soccer Team.  He spent a year abroad playing professional soccer with Inter Milan.  In 2009 he founded Breakwater Management, with the vision of creating an investment firm that reflected his commitment to excellence, integrity, and long-term partnership.  He received an award for being one of Los Angeles’ most successful entrepreneurs under the age of 40.  He was an incredibly intelligent, dynamic, kind and charismatic person and an incredible connector of people.  He had a way of deeply touching those who knew him.  He was actively involved in the Malibu Chapter of the Young President’s Organization and helped create a powerful network of brilliant minds.  He was a talented investor, a wonderful friend, a devoted husband and father, and a natural leader.

Saif’s passion for his work was surpassed only by his tremendous love for his wife and their two children.  He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

He will be laid to rest in Los Angeles at Forest Lawn.  A special Memorial, Celebration of Life will be held in Saif’s honor on Wednesday, November 10th at 2PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made online to the college savings funds of Saif’s two young children. Please see the "Donation" tab to contribute.
